Hey y’all (yes, that’s my time in Texas rubbing off on me)!
So as a new vegetarian, I’ve been trolling Pinterest for some good recipes. I want to make sure that I’m still getting all the protein, etc. I need to be healthy, but I’m sick of eating beans. Does anyone have any suggestions or recipes of their own to try? Anything would be appreciated!

Well, how about nuts and seeds? I eat them every day and every way! I will be sure to post a recipe with this in mind soon. Of course, how much protein you need to be healthy is somewhat controversial and, I believe, has been influenced by meat industry propaganda. Too much animal protein has been longitudinally linked to higher cancer and overall mortality (“Low protein intake is associated with a major reduction in IGF-1, cancer, and overall mortality in the 65 and younger but not older population.” By Levine ME, et al), though if you’re vegetarian like us, you mostly don,t have to worry about that! Anyway, everything in moderation, right!
